The Yaygin Saz is the result of over 30 years of mastering the manufacture techniques. The desire was to create a professional electric saz that could be used in the television studio and would provide superior sound quality. The Yaygin saz have been played and appreciated by masters such as: Kemal Arapolu, Motor Ali, Ahmet Koç, Fatih Doganer, Anthrax Mustafa, Mesut Celik, Murat Ozdemir, Krehir with Ismail, Güray Hafifta, Selahattin Alpay, Bedri Aysel, Mustafa Ugur, Sedat Ezen, Orhan Hakalmaz, Dindoruk Salih, Kemal Esen, Kenan Balsoy, the poet Mahmut Erdal, Orhan Ustundag, Ahmet Poyrazolu, Ismail Azeri, and many more.
=NOTE= Please expect the high gloss finish on the Turkish Saz to show dimples in the light. A perfectly smooth, unblemished, finish is nearly impossible to obtain with the technology employed in the Old-World finish process. These are handmade and such dimples are common and unavoidable.

Note: Whether you purchase an instrument on-line or from a physical store locally, it is recommended that you change the strings on your new instrument as soon as you receive it. The strings of an instrument both in a store or shipped to you are exposed to air and different environments prior to you receiving it. During this time the strings WILL oxidize, decreasing it's life expectancy and reducing the quality of it's sound. On occasion instruments may even arrive with a broken string, therefore, it is recommended that you purchase a replacement set of strings and consider changing your strings as soon as it arrives. Learning to change strings should be the first lesson learned when embarking on the journey of playing a new instrument.
