These beautiful ouds have a faux painted body and spruce soundboards with ebony pegs. They asymmetric line adds interest. They also come with a traveling black nylon case The Flat Back OUD has no frets with a floating bridge and measures 28" from the nut to the base. The peg box measures 9". It is 13.5 - 14" at it's widest point and measures 4" deep, neck length nut to body is 8". Has bracing inside under soundboard. Comes with 12 strings and has a center sound hole with decorative inlay . It is a 12 string with six wired and six nylon. Actual weight is 3 lbs.

Note: Whether you purchase an instrument on-line or in a physical store locally, it is recommended that you change the strings on your new instrument as soon as you receive it. The strings of an instrument both in a store or shipped to you are exposed to air and different environments prior to you receiving it. During this time the strings WILL oxidize, decreasing it's life expectancy and reducing the quality of it's sound. On occasion instruments may even arrive with a broken string, therefore, it is recommended that you purchase a replacement set of strings and consider changing your strings as soon as it arrives.
