The DUDUK (from the Turkish du:du:k) is a wind instrument that can come in various lengths. It has 8 finger holes (7 front and 1 back) and a reed. In the traditional form, two of these flutes are played. One plays the melody and the other plays a single tone (the pedal point). This flute is widespread among the people of Caucasus.
